Brecon Map for Car Drivers

From A470 North (Hereford/Leominster): Turn RIGHT off A470 at first sign for Brecon. At Texaco Garage, do NOT follow sign for Brecon: go straight ahead down a steep hill and turn RIGHT at Bull's Head pub, on to B4520 towards Upper Chapel. Approximately 2 miles along B4520, and at the top of a slight hill, turn sharp left into a narrow lane marked "Llannerchwen". Drive to the top (0.9 mile)
From A40 East (Crickhowell/Abergavenny): After arriving in Brecon, at first mini-roundabout after Morrison's garage, turn RIGHT. Follow the road round another mini-roundabout, passing Morrison's supermarket on your left. At the traffic lights opposite Cotswold Outdoor shop, turn RIGHT. Then, turn FIRST LEFT at Bull's Head pub, on to B4520 towards Upper Chapel Approximately 2 miles along B4520, and at the top of a slight hill, turn sharp left into a narrow lane marked "Llannerchwen". Drive to the top (0.9 mile)
From A470 South (Merthyr Tydfil, Cardiff) or from A40 West (Llandovery): Follow sign for Brecon, cross bridge, turn SHARP LEFT then SECOND RIGHT at Inn on Avenue pub, then LEFT at top of hill, on to B4520 towards Upper Chapel. Approximately 2 miles along B4520, and at the top of a slight hill, turn sharp left into a narrow lane marked "Llannerchwen". Drive to the top (0.9 mile)
