TRAVEL BY TRAIN:
There is no rail station in Brecon, so if you are planning to travel by train, you will need to complete the last part of your journey by bus or coach from one of the following rail stations: Cardiff, Abergavenny, or Hereford.
On arrival in Brecon, please stay on the bus/coach until BRECON INTERCHANGE
(the last stop), where you will be met.
Bus and coach services between Cardiff, Abergavenny, Hereford and Brecon are very limited on Sundays and public holidays. It is essential to check availability before making travel arrangements.

Buses leave from Cardiff Bus Station, which is just outside Cardiff Central Rail station.
From Abergavenny or Hereford:

In Abergavenny and Hereford there is a walk of about 10 minutes from the rail station to the bus station.
In addition to rail travel, it is also possible to travel all the way from London to Brecon by National Express coach from Victoria Coach Station
TRAVEL BY AIR OR SEA:
From Heathrow or Gatwick Airport, it may be possible to travel by National Express coach to Cardiff and thence to Brecon. Otherwise, it is best to take the train to Reading, then another train to Cardiff.
From Cardiff Airport there is a bus to Cardiff Central Station. At certain times this service is not very frequent.
From Manchester Airport there is a train to Manchester Piccadilly station then another train to Abergavenny.
From Bristol Airport there is a bus to Bristol Temple Meads station and then train to Abergavenny.
From Holyhead it is possible to travel to Abergavenny by train (sometimes involving a change at Crewe).
