Who we are

Llannerchwen is run by the Society of the Sacred Heart, a Roman Catholic Congregation of women who are committed to a life of contemplation and active service, and who wish to create communion. We are an international Congregation -see www.rscjinternational.org and Llannerchwen belongs to the England/Wales Province - see www.societysacredheart.org.uk. There is a small resident community of Roman Catholic sisters at Llannerchwen, and they are assisted by an ecumenical team of visiting retreat guides (women and men, lay and religious).
