YR ORIEL

YR ORIEL is a new creative arts cabin with a reflective space and a pond that was finished in 2018. ‘YR ORIEL’ is Welsh for ‘THE GALLERY’. It is a space for anyone willing to translate their prayer into any material beyond words. YR ORIEL also aims to safeguard a space to share inspiration with other people. In short, a small gallery of its own, where no art is labelled as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. There is a good supply of paper, paint, pens and clay. The clay is the type that does not require firing. Alternatively, you may choose to bring your own materials and use this as a space to work.    The old Art Cabin (TY TOP) was an old log cabin formerly used as a Retreat space. A tangible memory of TY TOP is preserved in the form of a pane-less window frame attached to the current porch.
